UPCOMING EVENTS

PILGRIMAGE: THE SPIRITUAL AND THE PRACTICAL

JANUARY 23 AT 6:30 PM | SOCIAL HALL

As we approach this year’s Jubilee themed “Pilgrims of Hope,” this summit presented by Luke Stager will focus on how to make the most of the idea of pilgrimage. Come to learn the history and spirituality of pilgrimage, examples of ancient and modern pilgrimages, and especially how to do pilgrimages in your own local community, including walking/hiking pilgrimages, either as an individual or as a community, as well as a handful of prayers that can be used to enhance one’s experience. One need not trek through Europe to reap the graces of a pilgrimage! Luke Stager teaches at the Madeleine Choir School where he also sings as part of the adult choir at the Cathedral. Stager has taught math, science, theology, and has multiple years of experience in campus ministry. Please RSVP HERE.

DIVINE MERCY RETREAT

FEBRUARY 21 - 22 | SOCIAL HALL

All are invited to a Divine Mercy Retreat at St. Mary’s of the Assumption in Park City on February 21 - 22, 2025, with Fr. Jim McCormack, MIC. The Diocese of Salt Lake City welcomes all Catholics in Utah to encounter Jesus in the Sacraments and understand, in a new way, His love and mercy for them through the message of Divine Mercy for our particular times. The retreat will be composed of convicting talks inspired by Jesus’ words to St. Faustina, contained in her Diary. This retreat is aimed to inspire us in the ways we can console the heart of Jesus today. There will be ample prayer time and Eucharistic Adoration, small group opportunities, and shared meals on Saturday. For the full schedule and to register, please go HERE.

NAVIGATING SERIOUS ILLNESS AND END OF LIFE

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, AT 6:30 PM | SOCIAL HALL

Join us on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, patroness of the sick, for our February Summit! Dr. Natalie King will describe the state of the culture and healthcare related to serious illness and the end of life. It will review Catholic Church teachings and help apply them to real issues today. Through explaining palliative care and hospice, physician assisted suicide and euthanasia, and common ethical issues that can come up, this talk will work to correct many common misunderstandings and help inform and empower you to be an advocate for the dignity of vulnerable people around this time of life. Food and drink will be provided and all are invited to come. Please RSVP HERE.
