This is a parish-wide event in the social hall. Free Dinner will be provided by St. Mary's Religious Education and Young Adult Ministry.

Michael Weight is an MIT-trained mathematician and physicist turned evolutionary biologist currently working at the University of Utah. Excommunicated from the LDS Church as a teenager, he then spent most of the last decade and a half as an ardent atheist. However, through the grace of God, he recently converted to Catholicism and will be baptized this Easter. These meanderings through (dis)belief have given him a unique perspective on the relationship between science and faith.

On Sunday night in St. Mary's Social Hall, Weight will speak about his conversion, the relationship between traditional arguments for the existence of God and Darwinism, and the rational basis for faith.
