ST. MARY'S 143rd ANNIVERSARY!

Join us for the annual St. Mary’s 4-mile procession on our 143rd Anniversary to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption! From our Old Town Chapel (Utah’s Oldest Catholic Church) down the streets of Old Town Park City, to the trails along SR 224, and finally finishing at St. Mary’s Church! Complete with praying of the Rosary, horns, drums, and bagpipes! Note: Friday, August 15, is a Holyday of Obligation. Mass times: 8 AM (English), 12:30 PM (Latin), 7 PM (Spanish.)
11:00 AM - 1:45 PM: Transportation to Old Town Chapel
Park your car at St. Mary’s Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road. Take a free bus ride from St. Mary’s at 11:15 AM, 11:45 AM, 12:15 PM, 12:45 PM, 1:15 PM or 1:45 PM or, take free public transit to the Old Town Transit Center and walk to Chapel.
11 AM - 2:00 PM: Pre-Procession Party (Decorate Our Lady!)
Before the procession, join fellow parishioners on the Old Town Chapel Patio and Deck for pre-procession fun! You are invited to bring flowers to help decorate the statue of Our Lady that will be carried during the procession. Food and drink will be provided.
12:30 PM: Miners' Latin Mass
Attend Mass at the same spot and in the same way the Miners' of Park City would have in 1881!
2 PM: Marian Procession
Procession from Old Town Chapel down Park Avenue and trails along SR 224 to St. Mary's Church. Including: Public Recitation of the Holy Rosary, *Bagpipes, Drums, Horns & More!

5:00 PM: Bilingual Sunday Mass
Mass in English and Spanish. (Note: Thursday, August 15, is still a Holyday of Obligation)
6:00 PM: Party on the Patio
After Mass, a celebration for the ages will commence on the Parish Center patio and inside the Great Hall. Live music and dancing will be provided by Rumba Libre, Utah's best Salsa and Jazz band around!
*Including: Food, Live Music, Games, Fun for Kids (Cornhole, Face-Painting) & More!*
The Saturday 5:30 PM and Sunday Morning 8 AM and 10:30 AM will take place as usual. Latin Mass is moved up to 12:30 PM and will take place at the Old Town Chapel with the procession immediately following it. No usual Spanish Mass, as the 5 PM Bilingual Mass will take its place. Also, Friday, August 15, is still a Holyday of Obligation.
