The elementary religious education program offers curriculum for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. There are 3 different class sessions that are offered for the convenience of family schedules. First Communion preparation involves a two-year program beginning in 1st grade. Families who may have children older than 1st grade can call the Director of Religious Education for other sacrament program options. We offer religious education programming for youth in grades 6 through 8.  Classes are offered on Sunday's from 4:00 - 5:15 p.m. In addition to our programming we offer some social events throughout the school year for our middle school teens.  The sacrament of Confirmation involves a two-year program beginning in 8th grade.  Families who may have teens that are older than 8th grade would begin their preparation in our High School class offering.  Please check out the links for more information about our middle and high school program offerings.

Teacher training is now available for all interested in becoming a Catechists and for those continuing their certification. Check the below calendar and course descriptions for more information. See the below links for more information.

All catechists are required to fill out a Disclosure form which authorizes a back ground check to be completed and you must take a Safe Environment on-line training course. The Safe Environment on-line training can be taken by going to www.dioslc.orgWhen the on-line training is completed you will receive a certificate of completion which is given to the Director of Religious Education.
